Cheap Product Rave!

I bought these polishes from Bodycare for 99p each! They are two of my favorite nail polishes to use just now. The first on is called Carnival. It has rainbow glitter. The second is Mermaid, blue and green glitter, my favorite! I can't explain how amazing these are. Being 99p they do take a little longer than average to dry, but not that much. I really, really recommend these!

Nail Polish Haul

Again apologies for the image quality, taken with my phone!

I popped into Superdrug to buy Barry M Nail Paint in Yellow but they didn't have it so somehow I ended up with all these!
First is the Miss Sporty ones. These all cost £1.99. There is a coral and a bright peach, Miss Sporty don't have the names on the bottles for some reason! And a top coat called Glossy Tech. I don't like Glossy Tech, I've found it causes shrinkage but I love the other two. The Coral/Red is a good dupe for Revlon's One Perfect Coral.

Next is the two Max Factor polishes. These cost £3.99.

This is a really nice green called Cactus Green. It's totally different to any polishes I own so I had to buy it. It looks amazing with a matte topcoat!

Next is Fantasy Fire a holographic type purple polish and to be honest this one is quite a disappointment. I bought it because it looks amazing in the bottle but when it's on the nail it's a very sheer purple wit gold shimmer, gutted!

Thanks for reading! N x

NARS Lipgloss in Sweet Revenge

Apologies for the bleh photo quality, these were taken with my phone!

I've lusted after NARS for a long time now but this is my first ever product from them. Recently I've been loving lipgloss for some reason so I thought I would treat myself to one from NARS. This shade is sheer but slightly nude on the lips. It really doesn't match the colour on the website (something that annoys me insanely!), however I'm still really pleased with it.
The lipgloss is not sticky but viscous enough to stay put on the lips. I actually had a nap with it on and when I woke up it was still there, I was very impressed!
One negative about this gloss is the scent/taste. It's a weird plasticy/factory smell that isn't very pleasant but you can't smell it when it's on your lips. Another thing is the price, £17.50, is a bit steep but the staying power of this gloss makes it worth it.
I will definitely purchase another NARS gloss, however I'll get a more colourful pigmented one.

Burts Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme Review

Details: Burts Bees is a name I swear by! Currently I'm on a mission to grow my nails and I've just finished up a whole tin of this. (Smaller size that came with a set 0.3oz - full size is 0.6oz). The full size can be bought for £5.99 and I assure you it will last you a long time!

What it's for: Beforehand because my nails were short and thin I was applying false nails regularly which in turn was causing my nails to be in even worse condition, a never ending circle it seemed, so last month I decided I would actually stick to growing them and I've actually managed it so far! I've been applying this cuticle cream nearly everyday, thickly, and I've noticed a great difference! Obviously part of this is thanks to the fact I'm actually paying attention to my nails but this creme helps in two ways.

How it works: Firstly is the moisturizing quality. Cuticles are important as they act as a barrier for your nail, protecting it from bacteria and other nastiness. However dry/dead cuticles can't do this job properly. Cuticle creme moisturizes the cuticles improving overall nail health. Second is the massage you give your cuticle when you rub the creme in. Massage promotes blood flow around the nail. This blood flow increases nail growth and strength, making it less likely your nail will peel or break.

About the creme: The product in many ways seems like a lip balm. It's texture (although powdery somewhat) and the fact it comes in a tin. It is yellow (like petroleum jelly) in colour but clear when applied on the the nails. The scent is very lemony, it definitely might not be for everyone's taste! It contains sweet almond oil, lemon peel oil, rosemary extract (like many burts bees products) and cocoa seed butter.

Will I purchase again? YES!

Haul: Boots, Bodycare and MAC!

Hi lovelies! So I headed in to town to pick up some nail polish remover and somehow came home with slightly more than that ... oops! Therefore here is a little haul for you.

Revlon Colorburst in Bordeaux - £7.99 Boots
First is this Revlon ColorBurst Lip gloss in Bordeaux. I'm not really a lipgloss person but these Colorburst ones are so, so nice!

Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait - £7.99 Boots
This is my second Revlon Lip Butter, my first is in Pink Truffle.

MAC Lipstick in See Sheer and Creme In Your Coffee - £13.50 each.
I'm adoring MAC lipsticks right now! Not decided which one of these is my favorite yet!

Revlon Nail Polish in Stunning - £6.49 Boots
I've never seen this in the Revlon stand before - it's gorgeous! There is a 3 for 2 offer on right now so I actually got this for free...woooop!

Barry M Nail Paint in Strawberry Ice Cream - £2.99 Boots
So my Barry M collection is officially ridiculous! I'm such a sucker for Nail Paints. I was looking for 'Yellow' but they were very low on Nail Paint in Boots and when I saw this I thought what the heck!

Cutex Nail Polish Remover - £1.49 Bodycare
The original reason I went shopping! I've wanted to try this one for quite a while and at £1.49 I'm not complaining if it isn't amazing.

Katy Perry by Eylure in Oh, Honey - £3.99 Bodycare
Technic Natural Lashes - £1.49 Bodycare
I love my Katy Perry eyelashes in Oh, Honey so much and when I spotted them for only £3.99 in Bodycare I snapped up a second pair as my first is a little tatty! Technic false lashes are another favorite of mine however I haven't tried this particular style. The only odd thing about Technic lashes are the fact all the ones called 'Natural' are very dramatic and all the ones called 'Fancy' tend to be quite natural, not an issue in the slightest though obviously!

No7 Skin Illuminator in 'Peach'

£11.00 (£6.00 with £5.00 off voucher)
I'm addicted to highlighters! (And No7 £5 vouchers :P !) So when I was browsing the No7 stand I seen this 'Skin Illuminator' it looked so pretty and I wanted it straight away!
The No7 Skin Illuminator comes in two shades, Peach and Pink, I bought peach as I felt it would look nicer with my skintone. These Illuminators are very comparable with Benefits High Beam (Pink) and Moon Beam (Peach) in colour. However you get much more product in the No7 Skin Illuminator.
The product comes with a brush connected to it. This is something I'm not keen on but I just put the product on the back of my hand and apply with my fingers anyway so really the brush isn't and issue.
Another plus about this product is it is in a squeezy tube, making it easy for you to use all the product (Unlike powders which often shatter and other liquid highlighters in bottles like Benefits that have product where the brush can't reach) and the on/off top so you can carry the product around without fear of it getting everywhere.

I use this Illuminator in a couple of different ways. The main one it in a C shape from under my eyebrow down the are of my cheek I want to highlight. The second is on the rare occasion I wear foundation I mix a little in to give that 'dewy' look as my skin is dry and never really rocks that naturally! It subtle enough for day and night wear.
A further pro about this product is that it photographs BEAUTIFULLY! Normally my highlighters pick up too much with flash (highlighter from Sleeks Contour Kit I'm looking at you bud) or they don't pick up at all. This brings out my cheekbones and complements my (fake) tan, I cannot recommend this enough!!!

MUA Lip Gloss Tubes Review.

Hi Hunnies!

I am a MASSIVE MUA fan, there is no denying it! They're £1 range out does the majority of it's high street/drug store counterparts in my opinion and this gloss is definitely one of those amazing out doers!

Firstly, I've gotta mention the price and quality. £1! For one pound I would expect the gloss to be plastic tasting, incredibly sticky and just crap to be honest. However these glosses are none of the above. They have a really pleasant scent and don't really have a taste and aren't sticky. I genuinely feel these lip glosses are just as good (if not better) than the other lip glosses of their kind that you'll find, for more money, in the high street isles! Long lasting wise I'd say they are average. The only lip glosses I've ever really deemed 'long lasting' are Stila's Lip Glazes but these stay on just the same as Revlon etc.

Secondly it the shades and shimmer/glitter. There is around 5 shades - not the greatest selection but these glosses are more about the shimmer/glitter. The two I have, shades 4 and 5, are both absolutely beautiful! Shade 4 has a lot of gold shimmer going through, perfect for a bronzed look and shade 5 has amazing large chunks of glitter in a pinky gloss.

Small Haul

Hi hunnies!
Just a small haul for you today from Boots and Superdrug.

First is a new cleanser as my current one is running out. I love No7 skincare but this is the first thing I've bought from their newer 'Beautiful Skin' line. This line has a really large selection but I decided on this Cleansing Balm.

£9.00 - Boots

Next is another bottle of my favorite gradual tanner, Dove, in the normal to dark skin. I adore this gradual tanner. It smells great and the tan is lush. I'm picking one up nearly every time I'm near a Boots just now as they are half price.
£2.84 (half price from £5.69) - Boots.

Revlon ColorsBurst Lip Gloss in 'Bellini'. Apparently this is a new shade. I've fancied buying a ColorBurst Lip Gloss for a while now and I finally decided to go for it. This gloss is really nice however it has a weird smokey smell if you sniff the applicator, luckily it doesn't smell like anything on the lips!
£7.99 - Superdrug

For quite a while I've wanted a matte topcoat and I was totally unaware Rimmel did one so I definitely had to treat myself to this, it's amazing! I'm having so much fun making all my nail polishes matte, it's really quite sad!
£4.59 - Superdrug

Finally I got a back up of my current favorite lip balm - Nivea's Pure & Natural Milk & Honey Lip Care. I originally only bought the first one because I'm a lip balm hoarder and it was only 95p introductory price but out of my whole lip balm collection this may be the most moisturising. It has an interesting scent - like royal jelly honey type products but much nicer and softer. Adore it!
£1.99 - Superdrug
